Prices exclude VAT. EU VAT and reverse charge are handled at checkout; supply a VAT number and it appears on your invoice from us.
Questions worth asking first
What counts against the quota?
A tracked variant, not a request. Asking for a badge is free and unmetered — it is on your product page, and a per-request price would push you toward caching a figure that must not be cached.
What happens when I hit the limit?
New variants stop being tracked and the API says so. Variants already tracked keep working: switching off a compliance badge because of a billing state would be the worst possible failure mode.
How long do you keep the price history?
As long as the plan's window, and at minimum well beyond the 30 days the calculation needs. Longer history matters when a regulator asks about a campaign from last year, so export it into your own records too.
Do I have to send you every price change?
Yes, and that is the product. The reference price cannot be reconstructed after the fact — if a price was 80 for a week and nobody recorded it, no amount of cleverness recovers that. Connect the webhook before your next sale, not during it.
Is this legal advice?
No. We compute the Article 6a reference price and the C-330/23 percentage, and show our working. Member states implement the directive with variations and enforcement differs; whether a campaign is compliant is a question for a lawyer.
